TOO GREASY AND ENDS UP IN YOUR EYES OVERNIGHT!

I applied this last night for the first time and it was heavy and greasy to apply and overnight as i slept on my pillow this product ended up in my eye skin, my actual eyeballs and my eyelids feel heavy. I hope i don't get an allergic reaction. I am really disappointed and i am returning this product to my pharmacy today and hoping for a full refund. Not a well thought out product. Apply it ONLY in the day or to places other than your face at night! It is obviously really soothing and hydrating to skin, but its a bad idea to apply it to the face before bed as it will end up all over your eyes and IN YOUR EYES.

Best used as a skin protectant to seal in your serum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a weird product. It most certainly is not lightweight and instead feels like you are smearing heavy sticky vaseline over your skin. In saying that I was actually surprised that my skin reacted quite well to it. My skin has started healing and is regulating the oil far more successfully. I probably wouldn't recommend this as a year round product but when your skin needs a little bit of love and care then this works well to protect the outer layer and allows your skin to renew itself. And please don't think that this cream fixed my skin by itself as it was actually layered over some high-tech serums, oils and eye creams but it did allow them to work more effectively.

A very disappointed customer!

I have used EA skin protectant for 50+ years so when you introduced a whole range of 8 Hour products I was delighted. I bought the Daily defence moisturiser and the tinted lip balm and was very pleased with them both. I then decided to try the Miracle Night Moisturiser but am so disappointed. You advise that it is softened between the fingers before applying it but the texture is so sticky and stiff that I am dragging it over my face. I am afraid I consider it a complete waste of money and will maybe use it on my feet elbows or knees but it is a very expensive way of getting rid of it. Perhaps it is time to rethink its formulation and try to make it more like the daily defence moisturiser.

Genius pot of magic!

This stuff is out of this world. First of all, the smell! It is addictive. I just keep smelling it it’s that good. It’s a thicker cream. I have dry and eczema prone skin. I actually had a flare up not long after I bought this. I thought I’d try this rather than my steroid cream. It worked wonders. Made my eczema die down within a few days. I was shocked how small the pot is, but a little bit goes such a long way. You really don’t use much. It’s also a really good for sore, chapped lips. I would definitely recommend just for the smell! But the benefits speak for themselves.

Not for me

Been using for two weeks and really wanted to like it but it is thick oily jelly which smells nice but is leaving me with spots for the first time in 20 years. My skin is also redder than usual.

Not for your face

I don't know why EA markets this as a face product - it is not. It's a very nice, high end petroleum jelly product that is best used on non-facial skin surfaces. I use this on my little girl's chapped hands at night, and by the next morning, her hands are smooth and baby soft again. I also use it on my hands, elbows, and other dry patches. It's wonderful. It smells great too. If you're looking for a face cream, try another EA product. If you're looking for something to treat non-facial chapped skin, you can't get better than this product.
