Great for my outdoor-hands
As a horse owner and rider, I spend a lot of time outdoors with my hands in water, mud, hay etc. Due to this, the skin on my hands becomes very sore and dry, cracking at times. I find this hand treatment the only thing that helps them, and it doesn't leave a horrid slimy feel on your hands after. It soaks in really well, and is great for cuticles too. The only thing I would mark this down on is the price - it's fairly expensive when you're using it every day. I know others have said about the smell, however I like that it isn't heavily perfumed. I feel that heavily perfumed products are no good for skin anyway, and the scent of this cream is not unpleasant, I think it's just that others are so used to perfumed products.

Amazing hand cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment is my hand cream of the year! I started a new job and my hands really copped a beating. They were in water a lot and I am came home and my hands were dry, the cuticles were absolutely savaged and my nails weak. I used this cream 3 times a day and after 3 days, they were feeling so much better., My skin was rehydrated, nails looked stronger and cuticles were starting to mend. Now I use this regularly and apply a thick layer at night on the days I do go to work.

Miracle hand cream revives your hands in a few days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was introduced to the Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Intensive Hand Treatment when a work colleague noticed me complaining about my cracked, dry hands last winter. The next day she bought in a tube for me to try and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Within 24 hours my hands were noticeably softer and the cracks were starting to heal. I'm not a regular hand cream user so applying it only a couple of times a day suited me with it working extremely well. After trialling this cream I immediately bought a tube for work & one for beside the bed at home. I don't use it every day, but it works so well that I use it on a as needs basis. I can highly recommend this product as it is more intensive than an ordinary hand cream, as suggested by the name, it is a treatment.

AMAZING - try it on lips as well as skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I adore this cream. I received a full-sized sample as part of an Elizabeth Arden Gift With Purchase and until then I'd not heard anything about it. It's a really thick moisturiser, although it absorbs really quickly and is non-greasy. I love the scent, it's hard to explain - it's very fresh and unique, kind of a bit lemon-grassy. As well as using this on my hands, neck and sometimes arms, a really fantastic way to use it is on your lips. I read it in a magazine somewhere from someone that works with models- she has them all put Eight Hour Cream on their lips and it definitely works! Leaves lips feeling really smooth and soft, it's amazing. Just don't lick them because it doesn't taste nice! FIVE STARS, this is a winner, I recommend it to anyone!

Great for dry skin
I received this cream in my gift box along with my other purchase. Skin on my hands is really really dry, wrinkly and cracked. I am in my late 30s but my hands looked 60s. Upon trying this cream for 3 days only, my hands became more soft, something I could look at. Continuing the usage to almost now 15 days, my hands looked manicured all the time. And I do not get manicures done often. I am so glad that tried this cream. I landed up buying a full size version of this within 8 days of trial. Great Buy!!! Great product!!!

softens and moisturizes more than expensive brands
my girlfriend gave me this handcream saying she don't like the smell of it. It was left in the counter. I was using my other very expensive "anti-aging" handcream that cost $$$ and I felt guilty to buy it again... Then I tried the Eight Hour Intensive Moisturizing hand treatment and guilt turned into satisfaction and peace with wallet ! EA's 8 hr Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment works so close to my previous expensive one at 1/7 of the price. From now on, no guilt, but soft supple hands with EA's handcream.

Doesn't smell good
Like other reviews have stated this cream doesn't smell good at all. It smells like medicinal sage. Luckily, I don't find the scent too strong. It moisturizes well but I don't enjoy using it due to the unpleasant scent. I won't buy this item again, I'll be lucky if I can finish the tube I have. It's unfortunate because the cream is a nice, silky, moisturizing texture. It is great for the cold winter months. Please add a more pleasant fragrance to this cream so I can use it again.

Super nourishing body cream
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually buy higher end body products, but I received this as part of a gift with purchase. I absolutely love the smell of this product, makes it smell luxurious. Although it is thick, it sinks into the skin very easily and instantly leaves it very nourished, but not sticky at all. The hydrating effect also really lasts which is fantastic. Due to the price tag I probably wouldn't repurchase but it's great if you want a little luxury in your life
