I actually loved Elizabeth Arden's products twenty years ago. I used quite a few of them back them. When I discovered this exfoliating cleanser, I was thrilled. I'm now older with sensitive skin so I thought this would be my dream cleanser. What a disappointment. The product has an almost medicinal fragrance that is way overpowering for this type of product. The cleansing part didn't get my face clean even with the exfoliating properties. It also left my face feeling sticky and dry -- not refreshed at all. Younger gals with no skin issues appear to love this product but I'm afraid I can't agree.

My mother and I both have sensitive skin and this visible difference exfoliating cleanser is perfect. It softens, cleans and brightens my face, removing oil and dead skin cells. It is the best facial scrub.

I have been using this cleanser for a month and it has been quite. It wasn't a magical difference, I have oily skin and this is for combination so I feel like I may need the oily free cleanser instead. The cleaner feels really nice, it foams a lot and has tiny beads which are not harsh at all but there aren't many of them. I switched to this cleanser from proactiv which worked but i felt like it was just way too harsh with chemicals and i wanted something more nourishing! Overall I liked this cleanser and it cleaned my skin but it isn't amazing and made all my pimples go away but it did help and was a good day to day cleanser but I am going to move on to another brand called Paula's choice to see how that goes. I'm a busy person and truly don't have time for extensive skin care. I've been using this face wash for years and absolutely LOVE it! My skin is more even toned and dark spots have diminished. The fact that it's a cleaner and toner all in one product is a huge plus!! You only need about a pea-size amount of this product on a silicone face scrubber, too. PLEASE don't ever get rid of our change this product! Honestly I've tried the more expensive line and keep coming back to this one. Thank you Elizabeth Arden - signed, Busy Nurse

Elizabeth Arden is by far the best skincare product I have ever used and I would be very impressed if I could find better to be honest. 3 generations of my family use this product and honestly it works a dream. I'm 21 years old but have started to notice a small wrinkle on my forehead and creases on my neck. I've used the Exfoliating Cleaner for around 2 years now and it is AMAZING, it leaves you feeling so fresh and your skin looks noticeably healthier and glowy. I now use Advanced Ceramide Capsules and retinol Ceamide Capsules daily with Vitamin C Ceramide Capsules every other day and I've noticed an instant improvement. It may seem a little expensive but honestly its worth the money. And when you actually work out how much a capsule is per day its not actually that much.

When I first started using this it was extremely watery. Then after several uses the extra water cleared out and the cleanser seemed normal except that it left my face feeling unclean and when I used my usual Hydrasplash toner, the cotton ball was loaded with dirt. This product line is supposed to replace Intervene and I loved using the Intervene face wash with the Hydrasplash toner, my face was actually clean. This stuff is horrible and definately not worth 20 bucks.

This cleanser is my favorite. It exfoliates quite well, but is gentle and so hydrating. I didn’t think exfoliating, gentle, and moisturizing would ever be in the same sentence, let alone the same tune! I received this in a sample pack of different beauty items and it stood out over all the others, even the sample eye shadow from another company and I am crazy about eye shadow! I recommend this to all women, no matter the age or needs.
