[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the headiest gourmand I have ever had the privilege of wearing. Black Phantom by By Kilian is a Amber Vanilla fragrance for women and men. Black Phantom was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Sidonie Lancesseur. If you want a fragrance that is warm, sweet, earthy, and is strong enough to last all day, then this is the one for you! One spritz is honestly all you need. It smells like sandalwood, rum, and coffee, yet it has this subtle sweetness to it that balances everything out. I am also in LOVE with this packaging. The sleek black bottle with the gold plate and top is so stunning and beautiful. It also has this beautiful design on the sides of the bottle. This fragrance reminds me of fall time and feeling warm and cozy indoors. I am obsessed with the comforting feeling I get from the fragrance. It opens with an unapologetically rich dark rum note; the scent of a bottle of rum that had been aged for years, and, then reduced to a syrup. As the initial dry down commences, a dry toasted vanilla note mixes with the syrupy rum.

I’m told the scent lasts all day, obviously my nose gets used to it after applying but before leaving working I’ve had people compliment it. The packaging is very nice too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad, but different. To me it smells like warm cocoa butter mixed with rum and coffee, with a hint of the vetiver plant. I like to wear it when I’m going for a strong, bold scent. Lasts a long time. Only reapplied one time throughout the day. Pricey, but high quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who is drawn to dark and woodsy scents, I instantly fell in love with this perfume! The warm and sensual aroma houses notes of coffee, cocoa, patchouli, and cedar. While the scent does bring me back to those crisp fall days of New England, it’s still wonderful to wear during the swampy Florida summer. At first spray, it’s a tad heavy but quickly tapers to the perfect, gender neutral scent. My husband and I both agree that it’s quickly becoming a favorite!
