I received a sample of Lancôme Idôle Power EDP Intense 1.2ml from the Community for testing purposes. TOP NOTES:Pomarose apple MIDDLE NOTES:Idôle Rose ( Damascena Rose) BASE NOTES:Sandalwood My thoughts: A very rich, sophisticated fragrance that belongs to the Floral /Woody frangrance family. Unfortunately this fragrance wasn't for me and I knew from the first spray with the fragrant damascena rose aroma and musky background it was too overpowering for me to wear and would cause me to have an headache if I didn't wash it off straightaway. I didn't get a chance to let the fragrance develop with chemistry. It's a shame that the combination of notes didn't work for me, and my nose didn't detect the crisp fruitiness of the apple. Having said that fragrance is down to personal preference as individuals we all have our own unique scent preferences.

I received this sample of the new Lancome Idole Power fragrance from the Lancome Community in exchange for my honest review. This fragrance has the signature Damascena Rose in it, along with Sandalwood. These give this fragrance such a gorgeous floral scent. I could smell the beautiful scent even before spraying it. I sprayed it on my wrist and clothes, and I could smell it throughout the day. My manager at work asked me what that lovely perfume was that I was wearing, and this was after 6 hours of wearing it. It's floral and slightly sweet, a light fragrance that is not overpowering but noticeable. Throughout the day, the scent lingered nicely. It's a fragrance that I would purchase as it's not too strong, perfect for day wear. Top notes - molecular polarised Middle notes - rose damascena Base notes - creamy Sandalwood I'm surprised that with just these 3 notes, how good it smells.

Idôle Power L’ Eau de Parfum Intense, launched in 2024, is Idôle’s first woody floral fragrance, where a creamy and vibrant Sandalwood meets an augmented Rose. A powerful combination of ingredients, for an equally powerful and fruity scent enhanced with the fruity Pomarose accord. Top note is Apple; middle note is May Rose; base note is Sandalwood. I loved the fragrance of Idôle Power, from the first spray. The pomarose inspired by a sugared apple scent embraces juiciness and florality, captivating a multidimensional fragrance. I could sense the unique rose bouquet, which always captures my heart; this is also the heart of the fragrance. The creamy woody base of sandalwood adds to this unique scent’s sensuality, passing it on and making me feel sensual too. Connecting with Idôle means connecting with myself. The fragrance is long lasting and though empowering it is still suave enveloping one in its original mix of floral and woody scents.

I have received a sample as a member of My Lancôme community. I find it very different from the other Lancôme perfumes. Fresh and long lasting. I will definitely buy the full size bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My very first thought about this perfume was, “It’s the perfect clean girl aesthetic perfume.” Both the design and the scent fit this vibe flawlessly. This is a fresh, fruity perfume with a crisp apple note at the start, followed by soft rose and jasmine and a warm sandalwood base. It lasts pretty well throughout the day, though it’s not overly intense. The projection is moderate, noticeable but not overpowering, making it easy to wear in any setting. The bottle design is sleek and modern, with a clean, elegant look. While it’s a bit on the expensive side, the longevity and versatility make it worth the price. It works for both day and evening(I prefer using it daytime), making it a great option for everyday wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an okay product. I wore in 3 different situations and my impressions were the same. Upon use, the smell is lovely and warm; however it does not last to the point I forgot I put on perfume. I have worn this to the gym, to a date night, and on normal days without going anywhere. I'm not sure if I easily got used it, but by the time I check... the scent is gone. I had check as short as 4 hours... and nothing was there. The bottle design is beautiful, but I want my perfume to last. I did not get headache which is good since I can be sensitive to some strong scents. They only gave me a deluxe sample size, but it was enough for me to say it's meh.

I received a sample and gave Lancôme Idôle Power a try. I really went into this wanting to love it, genuinely. Looking at the notes – pomarose, sugared apple, rose damascena essence, creamy sandalwood – they sound like they should be right up my alley. Unfortunately, it just didn't quite hit the spot for me personally. It's pleasant enough, but something about it didn't quite resonate or click in a way I was hoping for. When comparing it, I still find myself strongly preferring Lancôme's La vie est Belle. So, it's a neutral reaction from my end. Not bad, just not the wow I was anticipating, especially compared to others from the brand I enjoy more.
