It took me a moment to figure out I need to press it like a button so it can slide out. I tried it the 1 st time when my lips were dry and it did not really look good because it’s matte. But a few days later, once I exfoliated my lips it looked amazing. At that point îs was smooth and velvety I guess it looks mostly good on smooth lips. It stayed on for a long time. When I ate, some came off, but not all. Just reapplied a bit to look good again. Nr #300 is beautiful, versatile that that’s subtle enough for everyday wear. I can wear it to work, while shopping and makes me feel put together. Love it and definitely a new one is due to be purchased once this is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LC ABSOLU ROUGE INTIMATTE R25 #300 (Self Revealing) seems to me like it’s fairly long lasting and it feels really nice going on. It has a creamy texture and I love that the color is super close to my natural lip shade. Perfect for everyday wear. The tube design is fancy and fun too, it pops in/out with a click like its own little built in fidget toy. I’d definitely recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Lancome who kindly gave me this lipstick for free so that I could review it. I really enjoyed the packaging, it makes opening the tube of lipstick an exciting experience, and is a pretty satisfying fidget. It also makes me feel secure, that I know if it’s shut, because I’ve experienced the nightmare of lipstick coming open inside my purse before and it’s not fun. I like the shape of the stick itself, it's angular which I feel helps with application.The formula is buildable, but not very moisturizing, so it’s probably best to moisturize your lips before application. I’ve included a photo of my lips without any product so you can see the pigmentation I’m working with. I’ve also included photos of a quick swipe vs after building the color. The color is a peachy/almost nude/rosey. As someone with a tan olive skin tone, it is hard to find pink and nude colors that compliment me. But I feel this color looked alright, just a little too light for me. It felt more “natural” once I lined it with a darker lipliner and added gloss. Overall, it is a really pretty natural pinkish/peach color that would suit olive skintones, however if you have two-toned lips, it will not completely cover top lip pigmentation.
