PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!!
I have used this foundation for decades and it was perfect. It was fab to apply, felt really comfortable on, matched my skin tone and lasted all day. Was gutted not to be able to get this anymore. I have tried other Maybelline foundations since and other brands such as L'Oréal and nothing comes close to Dream Matte Mousse. They don't stay as fresh and I look awful after a few hours and keep needing to reapply throughout the day. I'm not being melodramatic when I say that discontinuing this foundation has really knocked my confidence and I feel way more self-conscious. Like others have said PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reconsider and bring this product back.

Dream Matte Mouse is the BEST
Maybelline UK, have you discontinued this brilliant foundation that goes on so easily because of its inbuilt primer and then sets on your face so softly? This is the only Maybelline item I buy religiously and if indeed it is discontinued you would have lost a loyal customer of many years. Maybelline now have 'replaced' it with another makeup, supposedly 4 in 1 makeup, which I bought, but it is awful to apply and also feels to 'dry' on the skin when it sets and is nothing like the Dream Matte Mousse, so it is NOT a replacement and therefore I will not be buying again. Come on Maybelline, bring the Dream Matte Mousse back!!

Where has my foundation gone?
After over a decade of searching, I finally came across this foundation which matches my skin tone. I use the Sun Beige I had stocked up on it previously. Its an absolutely amazing product and I love it, easy to use, no faffing about, great coverage. This week, when I went to restock and could find it nowhere in my local Boots, and neither was there a place for it on the stand. Is this product being discontinued? Why? Do people with darker skin tones not deserve to have a foundation that works for them? Please bring it back Boots. Please send the feedback to Maybelline if they are thinking of discontinuing this.

Why ???
I wrote asking ages ago why this was discontinued. There are sooooook many people who loved and were loyal to it for years and years even when expensive foundations were given as pressies etc. please give us an answer on why when something evidently was so popular would you change it for something that just doesn’t work. Please please please let us know if you will bring it back. I would recommend this foundation to anyone and have done in the past. But feel like turning my loyalty away of your not looking after all the customers who have been loyal for the past 15 years at least !

Dream Matte Mousse ticks all my boxes!!
I gather Maybelline are discontinuing this fabulous product and what extra benefits will its successor have I wonder?!! I've been using Dream Matte Mousse for a very long time and am going to truly miss it. It is so easy to apply and blend in, gives excellent coverage, never shines through, a good range of colours to suit all skin tones and is overall irreplaceable in my opinion! One question to Maybelline - WHY disappoint such a large number of happy women across the country by replacing such a popular product??!! I came to this product some years ago when Boots discontinued the one I was using before and I have stayed with Maybelline for all my cosmetics ever since!! Please think again Maybelline!!!

WHY! OH Why! Oh Why!
What has it ever done to you to deserve to be discontinued. It is hands down the best foundation out there, especially for people like me that use fingers to apply as am not poncy enough to use sponges. It's light, it covers fab AND to be honest, the 'fit me 250' is about 10 shades lighter than the '048 mousse', so at least if you're going to change the product. at least get the shades and tones correct. I would like to recommend this to a friend, but I can't...because it doesn't exist! Will have to look elsewhere.

PLEASE bring it back!
Please think again about discontinuing this foundation. Like many of your other reviewers, I have been using this for years! Having looked everywhere I could recently, I came to the sad conclusion that it had evidently been discontinued. Other cosmetic companies make liquid ones but it seems Maybelline was the only company who sold a mousse, so why stop? I have now bought your 30 hr liquid foundation as a substitute but will not be buying it again!

Why have they Discontinued this fab product?
I have been using this product for years. The Caramel shade is brilliant; it feels light weight but the coverage of my skin discolourations is absolutely brilliant. I just found out that Maybelline has discontinued this product and haven’t replaced it with anything. (The liquid Foundation in Caramel doesn’t offer adequate coverage). Why have they done this? Don’t people with darker skin tones deserve decent products that are effective?
