[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Shiseido Vital Perfection Advanced Cream for two weeks now and I have some things that I must tell you about my experience. About me, I am vigilant about my skincare routine. I use a multi step routine /double cleanse and I exfoliate on schedule. When I started using the cream, I had no issues other than my desire to firm and hydrate my aging skin. I am 46 for reference. Trying new skincare products is a hobby for me. What I found with the Vital Perfection Advanced Cream was that I noticed my skin was dewy and very hydrated within a few days of using (morning and at night). I used the amount of cream that I got in the scoop tool provided in the box. It was plenty of product to cover my face. I found that my skin felt hydrated all day from the first time I used it. I have to disclose that it has been a harsh snowy few weeks here and I feel that this was a great test for the cream. Temperatures were under 30 here every day. There is a slight scent to the cream but nothing that was off putting or strong. The cream did not pill at all and that is a big thing for me and a deciding factor in my decision to purchase a product or not. It's not thick but it's not thin or runny it's got a creamy consistency that melts into skin and doesn't sit on top of the top layer (as some creams will). I tend to favor a cream that is more dense and less watery, the water creams for my skin are usually sticky and they dry more like a mask, I usually wind up removing a tho or watery textured cream. As I have continued using this cream it's given very clear results of hydration. I would consider this an excellent option for anyone with mature skin looking for hydration and a nice clean dewy finish for a bare face or under makeup. I will be buying this again and it has taken a prime spot on my bathroom counter. I will be trying the other products within the line to see how they pair with my cream. I have already suggested that my mom try it because she commented on how soft and well hydrated my skin looked. I will be recommending this to friends as well. It feels wonderful on my skin and I actually look forward to using it both day and night. I have been using it for two weeks now and I can see a difference in the appearance of my skin. I took before and after photos. The before are in the black shirt and after in the blue. In the pictures, it's really hard to tell. But I can tell. My lines and pores have both softened. Which is GREAT! I'm going to keep using it and am looking forward to more great results. Highly recommend!

I have tried shadow products in the past and have had great luck with them, but I was not in any way expecting to love this product this much! First of all the bottle that it comes in is beautiful. It's golden And purple ombre and looks beautiful. Just sitting on the counter. It comes with a little scoop to retrieve product with so you don't have to stick your fingers in the container in order to get anything. It keeps everything nice and neat. It's ultra thick and creamy, but absorbs like butter into the skin. Once the product is absorbed, you are left with amazingly soft and radiant skin. This is a definite must for your skin care routine! Try this, you will not regret it.

It makes my skin much more hydrated, plump and firm. My skin tone appears more even too. The cream has a nice thick consistency. It absorbs into my skin effortlessly and does not leave my skin feeling greasy or oily. Vital Perfection has a light floral rose scent that is amazing. It smells like a true rose scent, not artificial. I absolutely love the scent. This cream feels very silky and smooth, and also comes with an applicator so you can keep the cream clean and free of bacteria by not putting your fingers directly into the jar. My skin has been showing more fine lines and wrinkles in the past few years ad this cream seems to have smoothed things out more and made them less noticeable. My skin has really been aging now that I am in my 50s. And DRY! Year round. I was hesitant because I've been on this rodeo for a long time seeking my holy grail. I was extremely pleased! My face felt soft to the touch and my fine lines have improved drastically. I feel like I have a "glow". Thankfully!!! Something to help!
