I bought one of these liners in every shade Available and I will buy any more which appear on the market! Like other users here I used to use the Babydoll liner because I liked the intensity of the black colour but found the brush applicator quite wobbly to draw a sharp and straight wing. The new spongey tip is just stiff enough to get a flawless look! Also I am sorry to here these are flaking on some people but I would not recommend sleeping in eye makeup... I have worn these only for 10-12 hours (not all night) and they do not flake

I used the old version in grey for years. It was the best liquid liner in the market by miles. The brush was fantastic and the eyeliner itself was perfect . Easy to apply and remove and a subtle texture. They stopped doing the grey which was a shame for us ladies of a certain age who can no longer wear black. Brown is ok but grey is gentle, suits green and blue eyes and adds a little contrast for brown eyes too. This is cloggy and harsh and very difficult to remove. Please please please bring the old one back.

I bought this because YSL have frustratingly discontinued Moire/Baby Doll, which was brilliant, subtle, easy to wear, came in brown (very important if you don't have dark hair) and simple to remove - in fact it was the best liquid eyeliner on the market, by far. This new replacement is far too pigmented, too dark, you can't get it off easily without pulling the skin of your eyes, and it flakes like all 'long-wear' eyeliner. What is the point of long wear? I only want my makeup to last one day, and then be easy to remove at night. Actually, truth be told, I sometimes didn't bother taking off my Moire/Baby Doll eyeliner and it just faded overnight, rather nicely! PLEASE YSL, BRING BACK MOIRE/BABY DOLL. I've tried various other brands and nothing is as good. And not your replacement is rubbish, too.

I've used the Babydoll YSL liner for years, it knocked spots of all other leading liners in the market. I film every day, and it proved flawless on set and lasted the whole day. But this replacement is terrible! I've persevered with it for a week however, it flakes, draws too heavy lines, and moves around. I've had to remove entirely and reapply at lunch each day on set. I'm looking for an alternative sharpish. Bad move YSL.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really slick, jet black. Stays on forever...like, I apply it in the morning, worked all day, went to a club till 6am, slept in all day, woke up the next evening and it had only flaked a tiny bit. Washes off easily enough with an oil based makeup remover or face wash. I've never used anything but a sponge applicator for liquid eyeliner, and this one was awesome. Great tiny tip for getting a sharp flick.

i have used ysl liquid eyeliner for over 15years and now its been changed to like every other one you can buy. The brush is hard and inflexible unlike the old (more recently named) babydoll liner, it doesn't last as long as it flakes and peels off the eye like nail polish or bad gel eyeshadow. Please bring back the old one, as i've had to start the painful task of finding an alternative

I absolutely love this eyeliner! The felt tip is super thin and precise, and even after long use towards the end of its life span it remains thin and allows for delicate and even application. It's also really long-wearing so you can party all night with confidence that your eye makeup will still look on point when you get home. Can't recommend it enough - please never change!

I have never been able to find an eyeliner that stays put and doesn't smudge above and below my eyelids. Until now. Finally an eyeliner that looks as good several hours later, without a single teensy smudge or colour loss. I am in seventh heaven with my new YSL Couture eyeliner. My first colour was Blue and now I've just ordered the Metallic Grey since it's fabulous.
