Liquid Gold Self Tanning Foam 200ml self_tanners (200ml)

Application was smooth with a mitt. Hands and feet are always a challenge even with the best tanners. It starts to wear off along the backs of my knees after 6 days from the initial application. Not bad! My pic was taken after 3-ish applications. The color in Liquid Gold is oranger than the Dark tan foam. The Dark has more of an olive undertone that looks a bit more natural on me. Personally I have a violet undertone to my natural tan, so it would be nice to see Bondi come out with a violet based line.

Every time I wear this tan people stop me in shops and ask if I've been on holiday I've even had 2 people write down the name of the tan I use so they can buy it to, it goes on perfect with the bondi sands applicator mit and it does smell really nice, it does stain sheets a tiny bit but maybe I put it on and got into bed to soon...the tan come out of the sheets after first wash though, I will never use any other tan apart from this, it doesn't go patchy and horrible like other tans after a few days it just fades nicely, I have tried most tans as I have been tanning for about 13 years now and I can't believe I have only just found this!! 100% the BEST

Do not waste your money on this tan. I am a massive fan of bondi sands products and have been using the dark foam for a year or so now. I saw this and decided to try but wish I’d stuck to what i know. Right from the first pump I knew I had made a mistake- I have fair skin and it is far too light. Surely a indication or colour guide on the bottle would have been a good idea? I thought that it may develop over night but this morning I am so disappointed. Feet and face are orange and absolutely no difference to my arms and face where I applied the product liberally. Do not buy this product I wish I hadn’t! Going to have to go and buy a bottle of the remover now.

Total novice tanner and applied this relatively quickly. Considering there was no guide colour it went on lovely and even. I picked this as I liked the fact you didn’t need to wash it off and after a few hours I had a lovely looking tan and the colour was perfect even for my pale skin. However, I found that the smell wasn’t great and even worse when paired with the Bondi Sands moisturiser; it also didn’t wear well and I found after a day or two I had white patches in random places and it also left my skin looking rather scaly. I would try Bondi Sands again but not sure I’d buy this product again, I would prefer something with a better smell and more moisturising.

I normally use the Bondi Sands tanning water however, I chose to use the liquid gold as I needed it to dry quickly and It advertised having the argon oil which made me believe it would moistures my skin too. I'm not happy with this tan as it didn't last well on my skin, by day 2 my skin was feeling really dry and itchy and the tan started to come off. I used the recommended exfoliator prior to the application as advised and moisturised for two days after application. Since the itchiness started (on day 2) I have been scrubbing it every day, after scrubbing for 5 days and the tan is slowly coming off yet still itching, therefore, I would not recommend this tan to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used it a few times now and really like that this doesn’t leave a sticky feeling after applying. Normally I couldn’t wait to shower after applying other versions but this one is great. I thought maybe it could be a little darker, but I guess looking at the before/after it’s more of a difference than I thought. I’ve also noticed virtually no streaks, which would happen for me occasionally with the other foams.

I have always been hesitant to try self-tanner because I am so pale and was afraid I would end up orange and streaky. This is by far the best one I have tried. I used the application mitt and have the perfect glow. It goes on very easily, isnt streaky or orange (even in spots that I may miss), and fades evenly. It has a little bit of that tanning smell once it starts to develop but nothing like other self-tanners. It also doesnt transfer to clothing or sheets which is great. I wish it gave me slightly more color but I started using the gradual tanning lotion to help make it last. I also use it on my face and it doesnt make me breakout (I have very sensitive skin). Definitely recommend!
