[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Davidoff Cool Water before, when I was around 15/16 I thought that it was the height of sophistication. That was probably because it was the first aftershave that I properly used. It became somewhat a signature scent, until I got older and realised I needed a stronger more suitable fragrance. However, this scent takes me to simpler times with friends, holidays and summer in general. It's light and has a pleasing scent that is also instantly recognisable. Although I perhaps wouldn't opt for this fragrance now, it is pleasant and would suit the younger gentleman. With that said, my Dad is 64 and this is one of his favourites!

When you first spray it, it seems quite strong, but it soon settles down and smells nice, and easily lasts all day. I've worn it for around a week now and a number of people have remarked on it. It's a really "easy to like" smell, and the main thing with it is it's not over-powering. I only used one or two sprays at a time and I found that was enough. The packaging and the bottle itself feel very well made, which is worth knowing if you intend to give a bottle of this stuff as a gift! Overall I'm very happy with Cool Water, and I think I'll always have a bottle of it!

I love this cologne for my husband. It's the PERFECT smell that you WANT your man to smell like. The packaging is simple but classy and manly at the same time. The price is extremely fair and very affordable. The smell lasts all day long. This cologne has been a favorite for many years. When my husband walks into a room after putting some of this on and I smell him it sends a sense of pleasure and lust right through me. I will never get tired of smelling this on him. This will always be one of his classic go to colognes. I would absolutely recommend this and I will also purchase this again in the future many times.
