EL SC Gel Balm Cleanser Face Wash & Cleanser (100ml)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used a gel cleanser before so wasn’t sure what to expect with this. The bottle is nice, it’s easy to use and is a good size. The cleanser is designed to remove waterproof make up as well as hydrating the skin for up to 12 hours. To use just pump once or twice into hand, massage on wet skin and rinse. I have to say I was not keen on the cleanser, the smell is overpowering and I could not get on with it. It has 4 different oils in it, it’s just very pungent and I had to wash it off as quickly as possible. I do not think I could use it again. It did remove make up very well but I could not use it regularly which is a shame. Based on my use I do not think I can recommend it.

It’s great at removing make up but still keeps skin hydrated where as some can really dry your skin. It’s a gel cleanser which forms milky liquid and feels rich and comforting. Very soft and relaxing on the skin. It’s a blend of natural ingredients including clove and chamomile which feels great on the skin. A very natural and fresh smell. You don’t need much and a little goes a long way. It comes in a lovely quality box which looks like it’s a luxury product. Would make a good gift for my mum or sister also. A good product which leaves you fresh and clean but not dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EVELOM Gel Balm Cleanser leaves my face and neck feeling clean and moisturized. The scent is earthy which is something very different from cleansers I have used. The botanical oils used are eucalyptus, clove, Egyptian chamomile, and hops which explains the scent. One pump is plenty to clean my face and neck. It lathers up well but not excessively. It rinses off leaving no residue behind. It hydrates skin up to 12 hours after use which gives me a full day of moisturizer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using this brand , it’s a good size bottle and a little goes a long way, it smells so lovely, but it’s not a over powering scent , it feels so lovely and gentle when applying on the skin , was really easy to work the product into the skin and was so quick and removing the product which is important to me , being a busy mum and having limited time, really leaves your skin feeling really clean and hydrated Love it

I purchased this product when Xiao Zhan endorsed it. I have to admit that most of the products Xiao Zhan endorses have been very high in quality, and this is no different. I love that there is a hint of fragrance that seems almost medicinal, like the balms my parents used to apply when I was a child. The hot towel soaks are very soothing. The makeup is removed so effectively. The white muslin cloth remains actually white after the wash, which is amazing. The skin remains clean and not oily for 24 hours, which is quite a bonus. Very much enjoy this product. High quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use a lot of products on my face, moisturizers, foundation,primer, setting sprays. Even though what I use is light it is a lot. My concern is giving my skin the deep cleaning without any residue from my face cleanser but, also leaving it clean and soft. I have been using Eve Lom - Gel Balm Cleanser in the shower every morning. It is all natural so that is definitely a plus for me herbs that I can pronounce. It’s removes all of my face product without irritation and rinses clean. I really like it and can see myself keeping it as part of my skin care routine!

This is one of the worst cleansers I have ever used. It sticks to your face like glue! Have never felt inclined to write a review about a product before, but this is honestly shocking. Smells awful and acrid, doesn’t remove any make up (have used a makeup wipe afterwards and there was tons leftover). I am passionate about skincare and therefore urge you not to use this product as it is over priced and the worst cleanser I have used.
