[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even the packaging and the feel of the bottle are elegant. The scent is a beautiful mixture of a woody base mixed with floral undertones. Quite a heavy scent, so you don't need to use much at all and yet another plus is it's long lasting. Several friends commented that they like it, ranging from the ages of 34 to 73. However my daughter (23) said although she liked the smell of the scent, she wouldn't wear it herself, so possibly not for younger girls. One friend tried it on herself and absolutely loves it. Suitable to wear both in the daytime and for nights out and certainly for special occasions. Would make a lovely gift. Luxurious perfume, I love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having not heard of Bottega Veneta perfume before I was unsure what to expect but the description sounded interesting. The weighty little bottle of Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours is a very rich and expensive shade of raisin with a little velvet band around the neck. Classy and simple. I was blown away by the fragrance itself, deep, sensual, sweet without being cloying, I found it really moreish and couldn't stop sniffing my wrists. For me this is more of an evening scent as it has a really warm and relaxing feel to it although I like it that much that I imagine I'll be spritzing it freely during the day too! A new favourite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened the beautiful and elegant bottle of Bottega Veneta Eau De Velour I was welcomed with a sensual mixture of notes. This fragrance is warm and spicy but floral and sweet at the same time. I have been wearing it for a few hours now and the scent is still nice and strong, this is definitely a long lasting fragrance. I actually like the smell more the longer it has been on and feel confident that I am wearing a womanly perfume. I would use this fragrance for an evening out but also occasionally for a treat during the day. It is subtle enough to not be overpowering and i have been told i smell beautiful today.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the simple, classic design of this bottle, and the velvet bow is a lovely finishing touch. The smell is incredibly long lasting. I've worn it once, and my coat cupboard was still smelling of the perfume a week later, despite the fact I hadn't even sprayed it on my coat. I think this is a perfume which would be more suited to wearing on a night out, rather than in the day time. It's quite a deep, musky smell, verging on masculine, and I would maybe go as far as saying it's better suited to the autumn or winter. I normally wear very light, fresh perfumes. With that in mind, I wouldn't buy it again to wear myself, but would definitely buy as a gift.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a fan of Botega Veneta I was looking forward to trying this fragrance and it doesn't disappoint. It's a discerning scent which embodies sophistication, you can definitely sense the pink peppercorns which leave a wonderful musky aroma in the air. I wouldn't wear this everyday at the office as it is rather special, it's most definitely a 'date' night or evening out fragrance. The packaging is understated suave, classy and the perfect size to pop in your bag too. I love the bevelled bottom to the bottle and thick quality of the glass, these details are so much more designer in style than gimmicky packaging that look cheap. If you're a fan of a little bit of luxury I'd highly recommend this fragrance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the understated packaging and the bottle itself is simple but stylish with a velvet ribbon around the neck. I would say this fragrance is elegant and grown up but maybe suited to ladies in an older age bracket to myself (might test this theory out on my Mum!) I can definitely pick out the bergamot and pink pepper - so quite a classic fragrance. This perfume is probably best suited for evenings as some might find it a bit heavy for a day to day scent and it did seem to last a long time. I think this would make an ideal gift for the classy mature lady in your life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging of Bottega Veneta Eau de Velours, it looks luxurious and sophisticated. The scent lasted the whole day at work, I think this is the longest-lasting perfume I have ever used. The scent is very deep and would be best for wearing at night. It has a spicy smell as well as floral and is very different to the usual fruity and floral perfumes I have used before. Unfortunately I would not buy this again for myself due to personal peeference as I prefer a lighter scent but would happily buy it for my Mum as a present and think she would love it.

This little bottle is full with a strong fragrance floral fragrance that holds on you all day. Normally I would top up my fragrance during the day but no need with this little bottle which also means the bottle will last longer. The fragrance develops on your skin so don't be put off by the initial scent if it isn't something you would normally wear as it does change and becomes a softer fragrance that I would certainly use again probably for a night out rather than day to day use.
