Best looking bottle I own without cap. Smell is nothing like the OG bad boy. Starts fresh with pepper and lavender, then this dark plum/truffle thing kicks in. Dry down is all smooth vetiver and wood. Way more mature and sexy. Less club and more date night like. Lasts 7-8 hours on me. Strong for the first 2 hours then chills out (but doesn’t fadeaway). Got complements every time I wore it out. Not for summer or the office though in my perspective. This is fall/winter, night out stuff. And don’t overspray or you’ll regret it, 2 sprays are max.

I have a massive collection of perfumes and this one comes in my top 3. It opens up with a universal mass appeal with Blue Lavender, Truffle and Vanilla accords. However, it gets deeper, warmer and stronger, with an introduction of dark truffle notes. The projection and longevity is excellent. Over a foot in projection and easy 8 hours on clothes and about 4-5 hours on direct skin. This may not be a blind buy so try it out first. It's more of a mature scent, as the younger generation may not be into a strong and distinctive gourmand-earthy presence right out of the gate. For those who appreciate depth and complexity over safe crowd-pleasers, Bad Boy Absolute Cobalt is worth making room for in your collection!

Gotta say, the lightning bolt bottle is a flex on my shelf, but the juice itself backs it up, it is slightly darker, moodier take on the original cobalt DNA. First, you smell blue sage but quickly it gets richer and earthier. The dry down is where it shines and becomes one of my best perfumes. I would say it is definitely masculine with some grit to it

I took the whole month to be able to post an in depth review, i tried just 1 spray on a new t-shirt to see how long it lasts, i was surprised as it stayed forever. The smell becomes more pleasant as day passed. The bottle is amazing this is my second Carolina Herrera cologne and absolutely love the product.

I would prefer wearing this in a fall/winter and the lasting and projection is fantastic. Overall 9/10 fragrance, must have if you like the original bad boy cobalt dna.
