Platinum Leather evokes a magical night in the Arabian desert with the rich scent of leather and a blend of exotic spices.
This luxurious leather-woody fragrance was inspired by a trip to the Middle East in which Carolina Herrera and her daughter were invited to spend the night in a tent located in an oasis. As the sun set, they witnessed a shower of shooting stars over the desert in a dream-like display.
A sensual leather accord encapsulates the scent of the leather seating and carpets inside the tent. This is combined with raw ingredients typically found in Arabian bazaars: jasmine – Carolina Herrera’s favorite flower and a symbol of the region – pink pepper and the sweetness of dates, in a fragrant homage to Middle Eastern perfumery.
