High Impact Mascara Black Mascara

I have used HIGH IMPACT MASCARA for quite some time The last 3 or 4 mascaras I have bought have all had the same problem - gunge around the top of the tube each time I return the brush to the barrel I never "pump" the brush - mascara just collects around the neck of the barrel. I have to wipe it off after every use otherwise it messes up either the shelf I keep it on or the inside of my makeup bag!! I am currently thinking about purchasing some Even Better Glow Foundation & a mascara to take advantage of the 20% off offer I'm just wondering if the HIGH IMPACT ZERO GRAVITY mascara would be a better bet? I would appreciate your honest opinion & response Many thanks Elaine

After many years of using Clinique skincare and makeup products I am disappointed that the Natural Glossy mascara I have always used has been discontinued. The alternative High Impact mascara I have purchased is truly awful, it is thick, clumpy and not fit for purpose. After a very short time (2 weeks) the contents have dried out and the mascara has become useless. It is sad and disappointing that skincare and makeup products that you could always rely on has been thrown into doubt. Sorry Clinique I have never complained about your products before but I really will have to look elsewhere for mascara.

Iv been buying this mascara for years and always recommended it to friends couldn't find a better one. I'm feeling very frustrated that for some reason clinic have changed it but still call it the same name and number now it's still good to apply and does a brilliant job but it's so difficult to remove even using clinic eye makeup remover. What were you thinking CLINIC. I cannot buy it anymore because it just makes my eyes sore trying to remove it. So disappointed and now have to shop to find another mascara after many years being completely happy with the original high impact optimal mascara ??

Made my eyes water and eyelids sore. On closer inspection of the ingredients I spotted Urea (ammonia!) and aluminium powder!!! Plus lots of "..cone" chemicals. Why on earth are they in a so called hypoallergenic mascara??!!! Only bought this as naturally glossy has been discontinued (used it for years and it was always great!) and I was told by a Clinique agent this mascara was the nearest to it - it's nothing like it!!! Absolutely gutted, no idea what to try instead as I'm very sensitive and wear contact lenses so it takes a lot of research time and stress finding makeup :( Very unhappy!!

I bought this mascara by mistake and it's dreadful. I fell asleep and it had smudged badly below on my bottom lashes. Although I curled my lashes first of all, I found the wand difficult to use and the mascara didn't look good or lengthen my lashes at all, unlike my usual mascara, Clinique Lash Power Mascara and High Impact Zero Gravity Mascara which both come off with warm water, which is my preference (I use a round cosmetic sponge and soak in very warm water, press onto my lashes and repeat a few times, and the mascara comes off). Then I simply wash my face in the normal way with Clinique Facial Soap bar. Unfortunately I have found another box of the High Impact Mascara so that will be going straight in the bin!!

I used to always use EstÈe Lauder double wear mascara, but a little while back I found the formula was irritating my eyes, since then I have been looking for a tubing mascara that stays put! I tried a few brands, none of them were quite right, and then I remembered Clinique, a brand I used years ago. I'm absolutely thrilled with this mascara - it's easy to remove and easy to apply, best of all it doesn't melt or flake down my face!!! I'm once again devoted to the Clinique makeup products!

I've been using Clinique mascara for years. My daily go to for natural looking lashes has always been the Natural Glossy Mascara, it looks natural, good for sensitive eyes, easy to build up & importantly easy to remove. Unfortunately you have discontinued it - really disappointed with that. The high impact mascara is not the same, very clumpy and a nightmare to remove ! Had to pull and rub for ages to get it off & that is with Clinique eye make up remover! To be fair, although it wasn't the eye look I was going for, the mascara itself once on , lasted all day. So mixed review, but I won't buy again due to the difficulties in removing it. Bring back the gentle naturally glossy mascara please!! NB. I already have the tubing lash power mascara, which is ok but not the same as the naturally glossy one

I tried everywhere to get hold of Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara which I'm told has been discontinued.Why do companies do this? I have used it for years and it was fab.A consultant recommend this as an alternative. I find to gloopy and I have to wipe a lot of it away on a tissue,so wasteful .It gives my lashes a spidery look which isn't what I'm after . It's also a pain to remove . I hate wasting money on expensive make up ,sadly mascara is not something where you can try a sample
