Stay & Play Gel Eyeliner (07 Emerald Dragon)

i purchased this as a new line to try. i love the rasin color as i have green/blue eyes and its a color that is a go to for me. the first time wearing it it was ok i use it on my upper waterline as well as lower.. it clumped in my lashes and bleed onto my skin. i was not outside nor sweaty. By the end of the day it had made its way to the corners of my eyes!!! i tried it out a few more times. did not go on and stay in place as i used it more. now its rounded and i used the sharpener and that made the tip fall off so i had to sharpen more. it fell off again as i was reapplying it. I'm not at all impressed with this product aside from the color.

Essence's Stay and Play Gel Eyeliner is EASILY the best affordable eyeliner on the market and possibly one of the best eyeliners, hands-down. The pencil format means the formula is firm enough to not leak or be runny but it also isn't super tacky or crumbly. Oftentimes, pencil eyeliners can get kind of dry (I'm looking at you, Ulta branded eyeliners), which is not the case here. The product can be smudged out for a more smokey look but also "dries" down quickly. This is genuinely my holy grail of affordably eyeliners and my ONLY complaint is that Essence hasn't put out one in every color yet.

I just bought this today, and as soon as it touched my face (no i did not press harshly) the top immediately broke off, and of course wouldn’t go back on. It doesn’t have more inside so the whole thing was just gone and it was just a waste of money.

I tried to sharpen it with cosmetic sharpener but it's not working. I bought essence Duo sharpener thought maybe works better no chance

This pencil is ok but I was REALLY disappointed to see the extreme lasting pencil discontinued. I have sensitive eyes and that was the only pencil I could use on my waterline without issue. This pencil is a little more drying and not as pigmented on the waterline.

I love the espresso eyeliner. It locks in place and stays all day. There used to be a dark green shade in this eyeliner that I really miss! It was my go to eyeliner for my green eyes. I wish you would bring back the dark green!

I bought the gel eyeliner and I really like it. But! You get, like, a 1/4 of an inch! I feel like there’s more in the pencil, and, if so, how do I get it out?? It doesn’t twist and you can’t sharpen, so what am I missing??

I wore this to a concert over the weekend. Despite the venue being hot (sweating was definitely a factor lol) and showering with no effort made to save my makeup afterward this eyeliner looked like I had just applied it.
