Pure Havane is like slipping into a well-worn leather chair with a glass of aged rum and a Cuban cigar-rich, warm, and effortlessly cool. From the first spray, it hits you with a honeyed tobacco note that's both sweet and smoky, balanced by hints of vanilla, patchouli, and a whisper of cocoa. It's smooth without being too soft; bold, but not brash. Think cozy autumn nights or a jazz lounge vibe. Longevity and projection are solid, as you'd expect from the AMen* line, but it wears closer to the skin after a few hours, drawing people in rather than shouting. If you like your scents with character and a bit of swagger, Pure Havane is an easy yes.

I bought this fragrance after using the online application to determine what Thierry Mugler fragrance would best fit me. Already an avid Angel wearer I knew whatever the system said would evoke similarities to Angel yet take it to another level.. I was right even after doing the test 3 times 2 out of 2 Pure Havane was listed as the best one for me. Purchasing sight un-smelled is risky however in this case was righ ton point – the Smokiness of Cuban cigars – the hint of vanilla and cocoa and a ting of honey make this a head turner and winner. If you aren’t used to scents that speak on your behalf as assertive and confident yet subtly sweet this ain’t for you….

Warm, full, strong, manly, smile-inspiring cologne that every guy should try. 1st Thierry Mugler experience, and it was well worth it. I wore it during a very warm season in Nairobi, Kenya.., so the scent wore off quicker during the day than at night. Blended well with my body and it hung just within the right radius around me, didn't overpower people but definitely got noticed :) Compliments from the ladies started on day 1.., with some asking openly! Delightful fragrance, will miss this one since its almost out and I have a '1 bottle-Dont-repeat' cologne policy [it will be years before I can go for it again]

This is my first purchase from the A*Men line. I actually blind bought my Pure Havane based on the many positive reviews. My local Macy's only carries orginal A*Men, Pure Malt, and Pure Zest. I've sampled all three and they were pretty good, my favorite of the three being Pure Malt. However, I was very interested in trying Pure Havane because the notes sound more to my liking. I must say, once I received my order in the mail and sprayed on that first much anticipated spray on my arm... Wow! I would have to say this is slightly better than Pure Malt, and Pure Malt is a gold medal. Pure Havane is a double gold.

I gave this to myseld without smelling 1st, because I read the reviews on the Best Colonges for Men. It rated in the top 10 . What caught my interest was the description with Tobacco leaves and Tonka Beans. I worked in the Tobacco Industry for 31 years and found it fasinating that there was a Fragrance with a desireable note of Tobacco in it . Was curious and took the leap of faith online and bought it . I'm very happy and satisfied with the experiance with this scent. And the "Limited Edition" aspect also steered me into trying it. It has staying power thru sweat and over night sleeping even .

Despite being sweet with notes of honey, chocolate, and vanilla, Pure Havane is certainly masculine. It isn’t super “interesting” but it is so good and something that I’d wear frequently. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist when wearing it. This is how it differs from other tobacco vanillas on the market which are sweet and more feminine and “round”. The herbal, green tobacco and bitterness make Pure Havane more masculine. This is the top, it fades and most of the wear is a vanilla tobacco. I know that myself and many other can wear this fragrance easily. Just get it if you like tobacco fragrances.

I bought this cologne over 5 years ago and I cannot say enough of how much I love this fragrance. If you like the beautiful tobacco notes then you will love this. Also as a person who wears colognes on a regular basis you cannot give a bad review on a cologne because it just simply doesn't work for your skin type, it does not mean that it is a one-star product please stop. If you want to judge how good a fragrance is... look at the overall reviews do not base your decision on a nitpicking reviewer that had a wet box or a change of mind or the problem with the store. This fragrance is getting harder and harder to find because it's not made year round like it used to be, so get it while you can.

Pure Havane and Pure Coffee are my two favourites when it comes to a night out and 'making a statement'. The description says 'honeyed tobacco', but I often have a strong scent of cherries within moments of spraying Pure Havane. Some people online have mentioned this and I agree; it soon changes to a smooth tobacco fragrance but the first 'hit' always puts a smile on my face. Like Pure Coffee #described by someone as 'an aphrodisiac'# Pure Havane will attract attention. One woman I know says 'I love seeing you, you smell so good!' So be warned, Pure Havane may wreck your marriage.
