Legendary Serum Lipstick (Angela)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Miranda and Linda. Both such gorgeous colors and what a great formula - - like nothing I've ever used before. It goes on cooling and kind of wet-feeling, but in a good (not weird) way. I can tap on and pat in for a subtle look, or go full bullet for intense color saturation. These have good longevity and are very nourishing on my lips. They are reasonably budge-proof once I let them set, which usually takes ~5 minutes (but I don't wear anything under them, just applied to clean, non-chapped, bare lips). There is a bit of very even, pleasing stain once they wear off over the course of the day. I've added a few snapshots to show what the shades look like on light, neutral-toned skin. I love these and just ordered the "nude" version in the shade Pamela. Every RMS product I've purchased (and I have gotten a lot in the past 4 months) has been just fantastic - - best in class, and these are no exception. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this in 2 colors and LOVE them both! One is Melanie, a bright corally pink that definitely gives me a pop of color! I barely dab it on and bam! And the other is Mae, a neutral shade that gives life to my natural lip color. I love it for everyday running around. The lipstick itself is so smooth and creamy and feels nourishing to my lips! It’s not a lip stain that lasts all day but it definitely stays on longer than a regular lipstick. I highly recommend giving these a try and I can’t wait to get more colors for myself!

Really love the way this lipstick feels and how it makes my lips look - it is insanely hydrating. They are also super pigmented and a little goes a long way. I ordered the color Miranda which is the rose color but it showed up a bit more bright-pinkish against my fair-light skin than I would've liked - (I'm a soft autumn color palette so I aim for more muted tones) but I think with a more neutral lip liner and a gentle hand, I can make it work. If you love bright-toned lipstick, this is the product for you! I'm going to order Mickey and give it a go because I would love to find the perfect color for me as the formula of these lipsticks is definitely perfect and worth trying. Photo shows a light-handed application of product in natural lighting - lips look smooth + hydrated :)

These are cooling, and perhaps wet like (like applying cool water onto lips) sensation on application. Moisturizing and comfortable to wear. Leaves a stain behind as it wear off. The longer worn without disruption of eating and drinking, the stronger the stain left behind when they eventually wear off. Comfort of a serum with the Pigment of a lipstick. Can be worn as a stain or worn at full opacity. Product only winds up and not down, so take care when winding it up. My only concern is that there are 2 ways to wind it up. If distracted and in a hurry with application, I will be unable to wind it back down. The click heard on closing lipstick assure that product is closed and secure. I suspect if you have dexterity issues, there maybe some difficulty opening and closing the lipsticks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’ve got pink undertones and want that classic bright lip like the one Rosemarie has, use Linda. Rosemarie uses Ruby Moon and I’ve tried it. It looks better on her than me and I think it is because Ruby moon is an orange red, not a blue red. Linda is seriously the most beautiful color I’ve seen. I’m obsessed with it. It’s categorized as pink but once it’s on my lips, it looks red. Like pink and red. I love this color all year round! It’s the legendary lip serum and so of course it feels like water when it first goes on. The coverage is solid and smooth and stunning. It is an instant classic.

I love how this feels as it goes on and the pigment is gorgeous. It’s rich and hydrating and has staying power. My second Legendary Serum Lipstick purchase and definitely not my last.
