Wow- love love love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried 3 or 4 different primers since UD went and discontinued my beloved Optical Illusion primer - from This Works, Smashbox, Benefit, Nyx. None of them came close. But this is next level. Has that lovely blurring effect that I want but feels like silk on your skin, and although I tried the Velvet which is supposed to be the matte one of the two, I found it had just a natural glow to it. Not glow in the dark looking like you’re either sweaty or oily, but just gorgeous healthy skin. I mix 1 pump with 1 pump of my foundation and it’s lush. The search is over, I’ve found my replacement primer finally!

Good natural-looking primer
Got this because I wanted some light coverage that would blur pores and down the face-shine factor a bit and didn't have a heavy or fake-looking finish. This primer does that job very well. It is very slightly drying, as most matte make-up products are, but a little lotion underneath fixed that issue for me. I love how natural it looks and its so light and comfortable that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything at all. I haven't had any irritation with this product or broken out, and it helps to tone down some of the redness on my face so it's less noticeable. One pump is enough to do my whole face and neck area, so this bottle should last me a long time. Will definitely repurchase this

Not just a primer!
Dior Forever Matte Primer is a great "natural" look for people not wanting to cover anything up but blur some pores and keep the shine down. I do think it evens the skin tone ever so slightly but really I use it for the blurring and pores. I use this instead of foundation on my 47 year old skin (that I take very good care of) and will continue to use it as long as they don't change the formula. I do put a good sunscreen over it and loooove the way it lasts all day. Just an amazing product.

Prime and Perfect
I recently tried this Velvet Veil Primer and I'm thrilled with the results! This primer has become an essential step in my makeup routine. Flawless results

It helps to minimise your pores , visible marks, fine lines, blemishes helping you achieve the flawless results. Good for setting makeup
The Forever Velvet Veil goes on smoothly and definitely helps my makeup stay set all day. The only thing I don't like is that the formula changes the hue of my skintone on my face. It give my skin a cool undertone when I have a very warm brown hue. As a result, I cannot use it by itself. I have to use foundation and use more of it to get back to my normal color. Wish it were truly transparent.

Impressed.
Really like this primer. Just been on holiday and helped my make up stay on for more of the day despite the heat and humidity. Helps my makeup look more flawless and as someone who’s very oily. It helped. Not as much as I’d hoped but more than many others I’ve used. It also hasn’t broken me out so that’s a bonus to. I’ll definitely be buying another when this runs out.

It creates such a wonderful base and keep my make-up in place all day long. I didn't have any dewy glow to my skin and that's saying something for a lady of my age Highly recommend!!!
