Use right after shower while a little damp most of the time and a few times qhile dry for comparison. Damp is better and doesnt leave any residue like a lot of pomade. Goes on white, come out without noticing it was used except the style you place your hair in. For my beard it works wonders because it usually curl. Not anymore!

I recently tried this Kerastase Genesis Homme Cire D'Epaisseur Texturisante wax pomade and will say that it performed well. It has a light scent and goes on well, providing just enough hold without making my hair feel heavy or crusty or greasy like hair gel often does. The product easily washes out in the shower and has the benefit of helping to provide more fullness/thickening. It has a thick, clay like consistency. My only gripe is at first I used too much and had to work a little bit to spread it in my hair so it didn't look like I had white product in my hair. I soon learned to use a minimal amount. It holds well and kept my hair contained and in place all day. The product is a premium product that comes with a premium pricetag. While I might not splurge on it for myself, I would indeed recommend it to others!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the chance to try Kerastase Genesis Homme Cire D'Epaisseur Texturisante (hair paste) and had mixed feelings. I 100% loved the results! I usually use mousse from a can to style my hair and to keep it in place. It is somewhat firm. But after using Kerastase I had a really nice thick style that stayed shaped the way I wanted it all day long. The firmness and duration of the hold was incredible. But had some trouble understanding how to prepare and apply Cire D'Epaisseur Texturisante to my hair after a shower. Just putting a little in my palm and working it into my hands before putting in my hair just didn't work. It was gone before my hands moved from my temples to the back of my head. Could be my hair was too dense. I had much better luck using the same small amount, then adding some water to my hands, and then working it all together before applying. Once I used that method, I was really happy with the hold results. It would have helped if Kerastase had shared some how to videos on the application. Otherwise, I was really happy with the firmness and hold, and will keep using Kerastase Genesis Homme Cire D'Epaisseur Texturisante to thicken my hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a notch higher than the spray - brings the best out of you yet is light and not too greasy. It is like clay so use very little - it can go a long way!! It is not sticky so massage it right into the hair and done! Very easy to use because it immediately adapts and absorbs into your hair. This product smells great as well. However, I do not recommend using this with the spray as it is then does not hold your hair in-place as much and that amount goes waste considering how expensive the products are. I love this product and greatly recommend it. I would recommend using this either everyday going to work or even just to look good.
