Black Opium Eau de Parfum Women Perfume

I am disappointed that YSL has discontinued Black Opium Intense.I love it and would ALWAYS purchase 2 qty-3 oz bottles and now you’ve taken away my favorite perfume. I have tried several of your other perfumes and don’t care for them. PLEASE bring this perfume back.

Bought it just recently. And own also Black Opium EDP. If you like the Black Opium , you will like this newest flanker Intense. If you do not like much BO, give this one a sniff...you may like it (that is if you like vanilla oriental scents). Fave from the two...hm...they are different. Both same dna from vanilla accords- vanilla oriental. Black (with pinkish juice) Opium sweeter, cosier , coffee creamed almondy, night blooming sweet jasmine lurking....for sensual yet elegant and strong woman. Intense EDP sharper, vanilla accord stronger, blue juice (in colour) have that more "blue" scent...sharper in a sense of zingy sweet spices of absinthe, licorice and sweet mint...some blue juicy berry here and there (comes and goes, like that smell of boysenberry lolly)....no coffee as much as in the BO. Perhaps sharp zingy sweet spices tone down the creamed coffee scent.And vanilla overpowers it too. This one I see strong, confident, playful, sexy and elegant woman wearing. With a touch of edge. I am more Blue juice BOI girl, but love both. BOI (Intense means not longer lasting). They both are not super long lasting, just a day. I expect this from regular mainstream perfumes. For example tried Tom Ford Lost Cherry....my room had projection from my shirt sleeve for a week (then I washed shirt hanging on the door) Opiums do have projection! Can feel them in the room as well, but not as for long or too strong. BOI stays on skin for hours on end (well moisturized skin makes perfume last longer for sure!!). All day on me. I shower apply moisturizer and scent on while skin is damp from the cream/butter. Beautiful bottle: dark space with stars speckled and in the middle , black hole....then you spritz the "juice" and get sucked in....

I really enjoyed the perfume fragrance smell. It’s sweet with a little floral and vanilla. It’s actually very subtle and is perfect for day time, however it faded after 2 hours. I sprayed 2 on each wrist and barely pressed in, didn’t rub. So not sure if mine in particular went bad or wasn’t the best quality control, but the smell portion is nice. Also the engraving was nice on the back of the bottle and it was complimentary. Probably won’t buy agian though.
