Clean beauty is a term used to describe cosmetics and skincare products that are free from harmful chemicals such as parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances. Clean beauty products are ‘clean of harmful ingredients’ and usually contain natural ingredients, but may also contain synthetic ingredients that have been deemed safe for consumers’ health and the environment.[
